Artist's Commentssometimes you don't realize what you've done until you've seen the damage .. HOT DAMN!  So.. I wasn't having much luck with manips lately because I can't really find my muse, and music and what usually inspires me wasn't helping at all. So I tried doing something different; I worked off of my old pieces, damage . I was pleased with it at the time I submitted it [May 24, '08], but I really think I improved it quite a bit. I don't know what I was thinking with those purple and fantasy-esque colors, it most definitely did NOT match the concept of the manip. Anywho, I'm rambling now  The concept of this is about feeling angry and remorseful. I put fire around the horse not necessarily because he is on fire, but because he feels as though he is. I also added more scenery & changed the sky, flipped the horse around, added a horn, changed up the mane/tail, and used different colors. That's pretty much everything, I certainly spent quite a bit of time, and I'm feeling better about myself by completing this.  -Artists Comments- Time Taken - 3 hours for the original + ~7 hours re-editing = est. 10 hours Made Using - Photoshop CS3 + Wacom Tablet Inspiration - Honestly, it was looking back on the original manip and feeling like it's an embarrassment to me. :/ Plus, needing something to do. -Stock Credits- Horse - ~Haiku-Stock || [link] Background - *SurfindaMatrixStk || [link] Rocks - *LucieG-Stock || [link] Sky - *night-fate-stock || [link] Bones - ~blue-horse-stock || [link] & [link] Fire - *resurgere || [link] Splashes - ~lizard--queen & *midnightstouch || [link] & [link] Mane Tail & Horn were all painted by me I also used two wonderful tutorials to help me along with this.
